Yes. Ships sail from Teknaf Damdamia Ghat across to Saint Martin Island. We book your ticket for you. Just mention your travel date in the booking form under Notes or message us on WhatsApp after you reserve, and we'll confirm the sailing and boarding details with you before you travel.
No. Submitting the booking form sends us an inquiry; we confirm availability and pricing back to you within 24 hours, then send a payment link. Your slot is only locked once the deposit is received.
We run beach-side bamboo cottages, garden-view villas, and a small number of family-size bungalows. Every unit is built from local materials, runs on rainwater harvesting, and opens onto the coconut grove. No high-rise blocks, no air-con hum.
Yes. A single open-air kitchen serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a daily-changing menu built around fresh island catch, local rice, and produce from our own garden. Most dietary needs (vegetarian, halal, gluten-free) are handled on request.
The island is open year-round. November to February is the cool dry season (most popular, so book early). March to May is warm and quiet. June to October is monsoon. The resort stays open with rain-friendly itineraries but ferry schedules can shift; we keep guests posted in real time.
Sailor Eco Resort is located at Golachipa on the West Beach of St. Martin's Island, right beside the Marine Park.
The distance from the launch ghat to Sailor Eco Resort is approximately 2 kilometers.
Fares are slightly higher during peak hours, ranging from 250 to 300 Taka, whereas at other times the fare stays within 100 to 150 Taka.
Check-in time is 1:30 PM and check-out time is 11:30 AM. We adjust the check-in and check-out times slightly, depending on the ship's arrival and departure times.
In accordance with the directives of the Department of Environment, traveling to Chera Dwip is now strictly prohibited and illegal.
Every corner of Saint Martin's holds its own unique beauty. However, tourists typically visit West Beach, Agontuk Beach, Golachipa, Humayun Ahmed's house, the mangrove forest near Chera Dwip, and the coral-rich rocky areas.
